In order to qualify for any of CLASSIC’s services, you must meet our income criteria. If your legal issue is criminal or family in nature, you must first be denied legal aid’s services.

WALK-IN ADVOCACY CLINIC (WAC)
The Walk-In Advocacy Clinic provides clients with legal information and/or basic legal services. Clients are assisted by law student advocates, under the supervision of practicing lawyers. The Walk in Advocacy Clinic is not able to provide services in the areas of family law and serious criminal matters, please see the Legal Advice Clinic for more information. LEGAL ADVICE CLINIC (LAC)
CLASSIC administers a Legal Advice Clinic, that allows clients who have legal issues in the areas of criminal, family, or civil matters to speak to a practicing lawyer for a half-hour appointment. These appointments are to assist people who do not have legal counsel, and who are self-represented. The appointments run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Legal Advice Clinic is accessible by appointment ONLY.
